Todays Insight Logo 2017-05-10 with spacingSometimes, I’m a pretty passionate guy.

Other times, I’m not.

I get real excited about the potential we each have and in helping others reach their potential more often.

And I get really charged up when I talk about being in My Awesome Place and how sweet it is!

But I’m pretty grounded and level-headed when it comes to facing business and life challenges.

Passion is defined as “strong and barely controllable emotion.”

And it is extremely valuable in ramping up your energy, and in getting other people to be excited and energized, too.

When they are excited and energized, they can be more focused, productive, and effective.

But too much passion, getting to the point you are almost out of control and you lose your perspective, can be quite damaging.

You just don’t want to give in completely, because, well, your emotions aren’t rational… they are emotional. And it’s hard to trust someone who appears to be too emotional.

And if someone is naturally quiet or meek, too much passion can scare the hell out of them, and that’s not helpful, either.

You just don’t want to go over the line.

So be passionate, but not desperate.

Be passionate, but not overbearing or overwhelming.

Let the fire burn, but not so much that you burn out or burn up something valuable.

The value in that for you is that you can push hard on the accelerator while keeping your hands on the wheel, and you will definitely reach your goals faster.

And have a lot of fun along the way!

Keep being Awesome!
