Business Success Principle of the Day: “Personal Connection”. I find that a phone call or a face to face meeting is much better at establishing a personal connection than is an article or post of some kind. Video works OK, but it is not nearly as effective as a conversation. And in my field, the personal connection is crucial.What about your business? Are you able to establish a connection and make the sale without a one-on-one conversation? And more importantly, are you able to build one with a face-to-face (or phone to phone) conversation? People may buy a training course or educational product just from a website, but they generally don’t hire a mentor without “feeling the love”.
 
Implementation: If you want to establish an emotional connection with your prospects, focus on having a one-on-one conversation, preferably face-to-face. Words can be quite powerful, recorded videos much better, video conferencing very effective, and face-to-face meetings best of all.
