It gave them the capability to plug in different numbers and see the impact of just changing the deal just one or two percent. It was worth many $thousands!

Implementation: Make sure you know all of the numbers – and the impact of changing them – before you make the deal. Get a good analyst on your team to run the numbers for you to verify what you think is true before betting tens of thousands of dollars (or more!) on your intuition alone.
